In my own words he being racist and he is really saying that this man should be a slave and that he should be in rags working for the white man that way he said that he should be put on auction and sold to the white man but he could not because he could not be sold because he has not been in the state for six years.


I think that he should not judge a book by it cover just he's doing better then most white people in that he is making his self look unintelligent and uneducated. This Quote makes him look stupid in still thinking about slavery that should terminated in should be then in jail for that.I think that pap is judging by the mans color. The Father is being stupid about the choice he's making about a successful black man.

Mark Twain probably think he was being racist to the Black man.Twain was thinking that this man was as everybody know uneducated. The man was that the man was should be put in jail for one being racist to a educated man in for being hangover by drinking bear.
